¡Hopkins y Calzaghe promocionan duelo en Londres!

En una conferencia de prensa realizada este jueves en Londres, Inglaterra, el campeón mundial supermediano, el británico Joe Calzaghe, acompañado de su promotor Frank Warren, y el ex campeón mundial indisputable de los medianos, Bernard Hopkins, acompañado de su promotor Richard Schaeffer (CEO de Golden Boy), promocionaron juntos el duelo de ambos en la escala de los semipesados, que tomara vida en Las Vegas el próximo 19 de abril. "Esta será la ultima pelea de Hopkins y desdespués de vencerlo seré una leyenda. Siempre me preparo como si fuera el retador, asi que estara listo para 20 asaltos si es necesario. Si quieren ver a Hopkins estirado en la lona, entonces vean la pelea el 19 de abril," prometió Calzaghe. No habrá ningún título mundial en juego y será la primera pelea de Calzaghe en las 175 libras, después de 21 defensas consecutivas de su título mundial en las 168 libras. Respeto a Calzaghe, pero todos sus oponentes tienen que ir a Gales o a Inglaterra. Estará caminando en otro nivel el 19 de abril. Veremos si logra obtener el sello de aprobación del USA."
